any updates guys??????
any updates guys......
Here's the deal... We're working on another movie that we are shooting currently and we will most likely do an independent self-release of both movies around the same time. The bad news is that means the B+K release is still at least a year away. The good news is that you'll get not one feature film with Denise, but two : )
Hmmm...two movies, eh? Tell us more, please.
Can't talk about the next movie just yet. But you'll hear more about it soon. It is already under production though. It will take us at least a year, if not more, to finish it.
Also, I've responded to the Trailer Conspiracy Theory before (ie: it's only a trailer) but let me say this. It screened at 2 film festivals and it's listed on IMDb which means it's existence has been verified : )
Here's the IMDb link
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0482470/
But having said that... It's like if a tree falls in the forest and no one hears it does it make a sound? If the movie were never to come out, it might as well have never been made. I understand everyone's frustration but your patience is appreciated. Then when you least expect it... the damn movie will finally come out : )
hi Simson,
U got any news for us on the movies?
Ahhh,
i will see the movie right now, release???
Any signs of life in this much-anticipated project? Throw us a bone here!
its been quite a while mate....anu updates?......
No news yet, but we will be moving this to the front burner to be dealt with soon. When things gear up for the release, I will start talking about it as things develop.
Here is my suggestion about the release of Blood & Kisses:
Why not try and go the way of Donnie Darko. That played for one showing every Saturday night for one full year in one Indie theater in NYC and created word of mouth buzz so when the DVD became available it was a cult classic and sold 10 million copies which for a movie that made less than $600,000 in its initial theatrical release was huge.
You could also follow the Paranormal Activity method of promotion and release which also envoles showing your movie in public to create buzz. They filmed the audiences reaction to the movie which was very positive and used that footage as their promotion.
Once you create buzz you could go the Nine Inch Nails way when they released Ghost. They had multiple formats available ONLY through their website; digital($), disc($$), collectors edition($$$), and extreme collectors edition($$$$). If you are creative with the collectors editions you will make up for any loss from piracy (you mentioned your concern about it in your blog).
Update, please.
So another movie thats going to die of old age in the drawer? Come on,I put it on my website for download, I bet you get more money from that than from letting it rot for another 5 years
hey when is the final release of the film.........plz tell.....I am waiting.....
please please...what's the status of the movie??????
